Victoria Bushfire Appeal
An impromptu square dance / fun night was organised with Ruth Mary pastor of the Kensington Park Uniting Church to raise money for the Victoria Bushfire Appeal. The event was held on the evening of Sunday 22 Feb 2009.
We would have liked to see more people there, but it was a very hot night and people knew our air-conditioning was on the blink. Despite all these negatives, we managed to get 6 squares up, a mix of those who could and those who had not (square dance that is).
Yee Haa We Have Lots of Energy
Irrespective of the numbers, everyone had a good time and $382.00 was raised for a worthwhile cause (every dollar helps!).
