On Sunday 6th September we visited the Adelaide Country Music Club Inc to give a demonstration and get the audience up to have a go.The club meets monthly at The Slovenian Club, 11 La Salle Street, Dudley Park (located off Pym St) on the first Sunday of each month, providing country fans with the opportunity to see and hear the best of local and interstate artists.

On the day of our demo we were entertained by a proficient country band Bernie & The Bandits. We had a great time, the audience also became involved, either having a go or laughing at their mates having a go.
It would appear that we were appreciated because they gave a big round of applause when the last of our dancers left the hall. A big thankyou to: Jeff, Jenny, Gerry, Lois, Kevin, Marika, Stephen, Jenette, Graham, & Helen. If you like country music and want to go for an enjoyable afternoon, doors open at 11.30 am and the show runs from 12.30 pm to 4.30pm. Entry for non members is $7.00 and they have some lovely healthy, home made sandwiches, cakes and salad platters, along with the more unhealthy pies, pasties and drinks from the bar.
I have been rather lazy compiling this post, I have not downloaded my photos, instead I have borrowed some excellent photos taken by Ian Fisk from the Adelaide Country Music Clubs website. For more photos of the band, the audience and our dancers and info about their club, check out their website: http://www.acmc.org.au/index.html
