This year, money raised from our charity events will go to Camp Quality who do a wonderful job supporting children who have cancer. Once things are sorted out, we will post details on this page.

Charity Night Update

The fun concert with the Police Dixie Jazz band will be open 7.00PM on Saturday 25th July at the Burnside Community Centre for Childhood Cancer. The first part will be a couple of concert brackets plus a group of school children giving a short square dance demonstration with the band.

We will then push back the chairs, have supper and those who wish can have some fun and try dancing with our caller Jeff and the Police Dixie Band, others can watch and the old, frail and very young children can go home if they wish without missing too much.

There will also be a number of raffle prizes drawn through the night.

Whilst you may be able to purchse tickets at the door, they will be limited to the number of seats left after ticket sales.

The Wild Frontier Square Dance Club Inc. annually raises money for a worthy charity. On 25^th July 2009, members of the Police Dixie Band (a part of the Police Band) are offering their services for our charity event to be held at the Burnside Community Centre, to raise money for the Childhood Cancer Association . The event will provide entertainment, social interaction; a chance for families and residents to have a night out in a friendly informal atmosphere.
